Camp Description

Join the Camp Raiders staff for a week of exploration of the Nottoway River. From a put-in in Courtland to the Devil’s Elbow and beyond, campers will go by canoe or kayak and learn about the history, chemistry, and flora and fauna of one of the region’s most important rivers. Campers must have a comfort level with being in and around water. River guides will teach participants about canoe and kayaking techniques.
